Paphiopedilum "Venom"
Oct. 21, 2015: My latest paph bloom was a real surprise. This is the plant previously known to me as Paph Bush because I did not know what kind it was or even what color it might be. I was actually expecting this to be a very dark red/purple because I thought it was the same as another I have with a tag. Obviously I was wrong and knew fairly soon that it would be green. The flower spike is a good indication of the color of the flower. The green color is just lovely and I'm glad to have another one since my Jade Tex hasn't been growing very vigorously lately. The leaves of this plant look very healthy, unlike my latest bloom that I am mourning. My hope is that with a newly found desire to make my plants grow to their best potential, I will keep this guy around for years to come.
